The basic tools needed for machine embroidery include:

Embroidery Machine: A computerized embroidery machine with a hoop and embroidery unit is essential for machine embroidery. These can be single-needle or multi-needle. But, you will always want the largest hoop possible.

Stabilizer: This is a backing material that is placed beneath the fabric to prevent it from stretching or moving during the embroidery process.

Thread: Embroidery thread comes in a wide variety of colors and is specifically designed for use in embroidery machines.

Needles: Specialized embroidery needles are required for use with the embroidery machine. They are available in a range of sizes, depending on the thickness of the thread and fabric being used.

Scissors: Sharp scissors are essential for trimming the excess stabilizer and thread from the finished embroidery design.

Bobbins: Bobbins are small spools that hold the thread used for the lower part of the embroidery design.
