Embroidery Font Software??? I could really use your help here!
Share
This is unlike my typical, informative blog post...
Here, I am asking for your serious advice.
I currently use PE-Design and Hatch Embroidery Software. So many people use Embrilliance, and I am really trying to figure out if it's worth it. Tell me some of the advantages and disadvantages of the software.
For example,
PE-Design tends to be less tricky when others purchase my designs and try to download them.
Hatch offers better realistic True View photos and the digitizing feature, to me, is more user-friendly. I also like how I can zoom in and out easily on the design in Hatch Embroidery. Hatch also offers a batch export of multiple file types at once, and PE-Design Next does not...
Let me know what you think....comment below!

I started on IG with I like it because you can buy a module at a time and it’s user friendly. I have bought Stitch Artist 1 and 2 but have not taken time to learn them other than some applique shapes. I’ve only used Embrillance and Sew What Pro so I can’t compare to the others. I like that:
- I can separate parts of a design by selecting it or by color
- can omit, move, shorten or lengthen stitches if needed
- easy to change thread colors and visually see the change
- transfer from laptop to machine through wifi
- Density Repair Kit can take out some of the parts that tend to be too “hard” or “clumped” on the backside
- if overlapping letters in monogram, takes out hidden stitches
- when resizing adjusts stitch count automatically
- putting names at neckline are a breeze … just take photo of shirt and upload to get the curve just right
I’m sure there are many more “likes” that have just be come second nature.
